Or if you’d like something more relaxed why not explore:
- Some of the many winding paths and tracks here at Mount Edgcumbe Park, where you can visit some of the historic landmarks and viewpoints.
- The Tree Trail. This trail has been designed to introduce you to 17 interesting tree species within the Country Park. The route is 3km (2 miles) long.
- The Camellia Trail. Mount Edgcumbe holds some 1,000 varieties and species in its collection and due to it’s favoured position camellias appear from January onwards, see all of them in one go!
For the more adventurous, why not explore further afield, longer hires can be used to explore all 865 acres of Mount Edgcumbe and the amazing Rame Peninsula. It won’t disappoint with sandy coves, estuarine mudflats, fishing villages of Cawsand and Kingsand, remote hilltop chapels, historic landmarks and breathtaking coastal views.
